Why a Community?
Despite many efforts from research and from the industry, there often remains a significant 'gap' between the available state of the art in software engineering and industrial applicability. Over the past years the Vlaams Software Platform (VSP) launched numerous initiatives like seminars, workgroups and newsletters to reduce this gap.
The VSP wants to move forward in narrowing this gap by setting up communities around selected domains of software engineering topics that have industrial relevance.
The first selected theme is "requirements and specification of software intensive systems". Numerous contacts with research and the industry have confirmed that this matter is ranked highly in the top priority topics.
Organization
The VSP Community "City of Requirements" is operated by the Software Engineering group of SIRRIS, the Collective Center for the Belgian technology industry.
If you want to join this community, please send an email message to the community administrator.
